We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical setting. This role offers an opportunity to work in a quick-paced, patient-focused setting with a focus on both general dentistry and specialized treatments such as orthodontics and pediatrics.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using CAD technology to ensure a sterile workplace.
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
Take and develop dental radiographs, utilizing skills in CAD for imaging accuracy.
Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, explaining procedures using medical terminology that patients can understand.
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and perform front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and answer questions related to treatments or procedures.
Assist with laboratory tasks, including the fabrication of dental appliances or orthodontic devices.
Skills
Experience with dental assisting techniques, including sterilization, patient preparation, and chairside assistance.
