Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform manual osteopathic techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and stretching to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
Educate patients on self-care strategies, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Skills:
Possess a Diploma or Degree in Osteopathy from an accredited institution.
Valid certification and registration as a Manual Osteopathist.
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical concepts in an understandable manner.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience working in a clinical setting.
Additional certifications or training in specialized manual therapy techniques.
