Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused cashier to handle customer transactions, process payments, and provide excellent service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a quick-paced environment, communicate well, and handle cash and electronic payments accurately.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly, qualified service.
Process cash, credit and debit card, mobile, and other payment transactions accurately.
Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and change according to company procedures.
Verify prices, discounts, promotions, and customer purchases.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and report discrepancies as required.
Assist customers with basic questions about products, prices, and store policies.
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Follow company procedures for cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
Assist with stocking shelves and other store duties as needed.
Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.




Follow workplace health, safety, and customer service standards.

Required Skills

Qualifications

Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage but may not be required for entry-level positions.
Willingness to learn company procedures and POS systems.

Work Setting

Cashiers typically work in retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, or other customer-facing environments. The role may involve standing for extended periods and working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
