You as a HSE Administrator: Support the day-to-day administration of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across heavy civil construction projects, including earthworks, underground utilities, pipelines, and infrastructure work.
Maintain safety records and documentation, including training records, orientations, inspections, FLHAs, incident reports, and COR-related documentation.
Coordinate and track employee certifications, safety training, and compliance requirements.
Assist in onboarding new employees by preparing orientation packages and maintaining personnel records.
Support project teams with the collection, organization,
and distribution of safety documents and reports.
Prepare monthly safety statistics, reports, and administrative summaries.
Maintain digital and hard-copy filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Assist the HSE team with audits, inspections, and regulatory documentation as required.
Is this the right role for you? You have 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting health and safety, construction, or industrial operations.
Experience working in heavy civil, earthworks, utilities, pipeline, or construction environments is considered an asset.
Robust organizational and record-keeping skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
Experience maintaining confidential records and coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support field and office teams.
Knowledge of COR requirements, Alberta OHS legislation, and construction safety documentation is considered an asset.
