In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for managing the cash and short-term debt for the company.

Please note, this position requires an early morning start time and occasional coverage of Canadian Natural office closures
Key Accountabilities:
Prepare short-term cash forecasts and optimize cash management
Management of short-term CAD and US debt programs
Execute cash investments, foreign exchange hedging transactions and hedge accounting documentation as appropriate
Manage incoming and outgoing letters of credit
Support the share repurchase (NCIB) program and prepare required reporting
Prepare reporting on Treasury activities on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Support the above functions in Canadian Natural’s treasury systems and/or excel models, as appropriate
Collaborate with other groups within Canadian Natural as well as support external corporate and banking relationships
Ad hoc requests and analysis from Management
What You Bring to the Role:
Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including time in a Treasury role.
Completed a designation program (CPA or CFA)
Required skills include intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, organizational and communication skills complemented with a strong work ethic
