About the Role Our client is seeking a certified and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join their reputable service center in Kimberley. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on a wide range of vehicles. You will ensure that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards, providing customers with reliable and safe transportation. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, contributing to a trusted automotive repair facility.
Key Responsibilities Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Repair and replace worn or faulty vehicle components, such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and fix complex problems.
Ensure all work performed meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
Relevant trade certification (e.g., ASE certification).
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes and models.
Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic software and specialized tools.
Valid driver's license and a strong work ethic.
