About the Role Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer specializing in Curriculum and Instructional Design to join their Faculty of Education in Kimberley . This academic role involves educating future teachers and educational professionals on the principles and practices of designing effective learning experiences. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, facilitating interactive workshops, and guiding students through the process of curriculum development and instructional strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a strong theoretical foundation coupled with practical experience in creating impactful educational programs, contributing to the development of skilled educators within the region, and operating in a hybrid capacity.
Key Responsibilities Teach courses in curriculum theory, instructional design methodologies, assessment development, and educational technology.
Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessment tools.
Facilitate student learning through lectures, discussions, group activities, and practical application exercises.
Supervise student projects and practicum experiences related to curriculum and instructional design.
Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication in relevant academic fields.
Requirements Master's degree or higher in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in teaching and curriculum development at the tertiary level or in professional development settings.
Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and assessment principles.
Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students in Kimberley .
