You will address crucial issues like infrastructure, housing, and financial planning while collaborating with municipal stakeholders to improve PEI community outcomes. The position requires analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of municipal governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research municipal policy issues and assess impacts
• Monitor legislative developments relevant to municipalities
• Prepare issue briefs and policy recommendations
• Draft consultation responses for Executive Director review
• Support government meeting preparations with evidence
Requirements:
• University degree in Public Policy or related field
• Experienced in policy research and analysis
• Robust analytical and writing skills
• Proficient in data analysis and document management
• Knowledge of municipal governance issues
