Assist residents with their rehabilitation as a Physiotherapy Assistant for a Long Term Care client in L'Original, Ontario. Provide essential support under the guidance of a Physiotherapist to help implement treatment programs.

We are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to cover 25 hours weekly from February 3 to 25, 2025, at a Long Term Care facility. This role involves working closely with elderly residents, encouraging them to achieve their treatment goals, and documenting their progress meticulously. Applicants should be prepared to assist with exercises, monitor health changes, and perform various treatments directed by the Physiotherapist.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct group exercises and individual sessions with residents
• Encourage residents in achieving their planned treatment goals




• Document treatment and progress after therapy sessions
• Assist residents with walking and protected transferring
• Monitor health changes and report to Physiotherapist

Requirements:
• Graduate as a Physiotherapy Assistant or equivalent
• Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
• Experience in Long Term Care is a plus
• Current police check for Vulnerable Sector
• Valid TB Test or Chest X-Ray and driver's license
