Key Responsibilities
Develop electrical designs and technical drawings based on client requirements and engineering standards
Provide design support to Engineers and project teams
Prepare advanced drawings using the latest version of AutoCAD
Develop layouts and designs in accordance with engineering specifications, applicable codes, and client standards
Independently complete hands-on electrical design activities with minimal supervision
Prepare project deliverables including:
Single line diagrams




Area classification drawings
Electrical load lists
Equipment datasheets
Equipment layouts
Grounding layouts
Lighting layouts
Cable tray layouts
Cable schedules
Panel schedules
Control schematics
Electric heat trace design
Wiring diagrams
3D models
Construction work packages
Update drawings based on mark-ups and field redlines
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, company procedures, and client requirements

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience as an Electrical Designer
Strong AutoCAD and CADD experience
ETAP experience is considered a strong asset
Experience with 3D design/modeling is an asset
Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
