In this full-time position, you will develop and implement critical HSE programs within port and terminal operations. Your expertise will ensure regulatory compliance, promote a 'Zero Incident' safety culture, and support operations with detailed risk assessments. You will also oversee safety during heavy-lift operations and contractor activities to ensure the well-being of all personnel involved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safety inspections and audits throughout port operations
• Lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Oversee permit-to-work programs and compliance standards
• Verify contractor training and safety performance
• Provide oversight during cargo handling and vessel operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety preferred
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in port operations
• Experience in incident investigations and safety compliance
• Robust knowledge of HSE regulations and principles
• French proficiency required for Quebec operations
