The City of Surrey is looking for a driven Communications & Strategic Promotions Specialist within its Communications and Engagement Division. You will support corporate communications, develop compelling content, and coordinate significant promotional activities that align with city goals. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key to advancing the Economic Investment Services mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic communications and promotional plans
• Create targeted content across digital platforms and media
• Collaborate to ensure messaging aligns with city branding
• Utilize data to inform and enhance strategic initiatives
• Support event planning and stakeholder engagement efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
• Two years of relevant experience with proven success
• Proficiency with CMS and social media management tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid BC Driver's License
