The Westside Health Centre isseeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from November 1st to April 1st, 2028.

Responsibilities

delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness

work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access

utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members

Remuneration

guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day)

additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded.

accommodations up to $300 per night

travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500)

Westside Health Centre is a well-established family medicine clinic using Med Access EMR, with a collaborative team consisting of two other family physicians, 2 Family Practice Nurses (FPNs), 1 Nurse Practitioners (NPs), a dietician, a social worker and a strong administrative support team.



The clinic offers comprehensive primary care services and includes access to a fully equipped procedural room for physicians interested in performing office-based procedures. Flexible practice opportunities and a supportive collegial environment are available.
