Make a difference as a Housing Support Worker with Threshold Housing Society, where you’ll provide crucial overnight support for at-risk youth in a safe environment. This part time role fosters community and empowers youth towards brighter futures.

In this position, you will be the primary overnight contact for youth facing housing challenges. Your responsibilities include assisting youth with stress management and guiding them toward individual goals. You will work collaboratively in a holistic team approach, addressing mental health, life skills, and community support needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth during overnight hours in a housing setting
• Manage crisis situations and assist with stressors
• Foster individual goal setting for youth each evening




• Collaborate with team members to address diverse needs
• Engage in a holistic approach to support youth empowerment

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Child & Youth Care
• 1-2 years of experience with at-risk populations
• ASIST and NVCI training preferred
• Emergency First Aid and Food Safe certifications
• Clear Criminal Record Check from Threshold
