About the Role Our client is looking for a diligent and experienced Auditor to join their internal audit team in Kimberley . This role is essential for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance within the financial services operations. You will conduct comprehensive audits, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management. The hybrid work model ensures a collaborative approach to audits, allowing for necessary fieldwork and team interaction while retaining remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits according to the annual audit plan.
Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
Gather and analyze audit evidence, documenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely.
Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues.
Develop practical recommendations for improving controls and business processes.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CA(SA), or CISA are highly desirable.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of auditing standards, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks.
Proficiency in audit software and data analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong report writing and communication abilities, suited for a hybrid work environment.
