Role Description This is a full-time remote Drafter role. The Drafter will prepare detailed technical drawings and plans based on survey data, drone imagery, and 3D models for use in construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting field notes and measurements, creating and updating CAD drawings, ensuring that designs meet applicable standards, and organizing project files for easy access and review. The role involves collaborating with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to clarify requirements,
resolve discrepancies, and deliver accurate, timely drafting work. The Drafter is expected to manage their schedule effectively, communicate clearly in a remote environment, and maintain high quality and consistency across all drawings.
Qualifications Ability to produce accurate technical drawings using CAD software and related drafting tools.
Skill in interpreting survey data, drone imagery, and 3D models for use in land development and infrastructure plans.
Robust attention to detail and quality control in reviewing, revising, and annotating drawings.
Proficiency in organizing digital files, applying project standards, and documenting revisions clearly.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and project stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
Experience with land surveying, civil engineering, or geospatial projects is beneficial.
Relevant technical education or certification in drafting, CAD, surveying technology, or a related field is preferred.
