As the Production Lead Hand, you'll lead a team while focusing on the final assembly of battery storage systems. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure products are safe and of high quality. This role requires expertise in heavy assembly, electrical systems, and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the assembly of complete battery energy storage systems • Operate cranes and forklifts for heavy component positioning • Ensure precision in mechanical assembly and electrical connections • Perform End-of-Line testing for system validation • Mentor technicians and promote effective production practices
Requirements: • Valid Canadian Journeyperson certification or 7+ years relevant experience • Minimum of 5 years in heavy equipment manufacturing • Proven electrical testing and troubleshooting skills • Strong understanding of electrical codes and assembly documentation • Experience as a Lead Hand in manufacturing
