Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a 1-year contract opportunity with a Recent Westminster based organization in the government and public sector.

This role is ideal for a senior HR professional who enjoys being a trusted advisor, supporting employees and leaders, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies, collective agreements, and employment standards.

As the HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day HR operations, employee and labour relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, policy support, and organizational planning.

Key Responsibilities - Oversee core HR functions and act as a first point of contact for staff, managers, and supervisors. - Deliver HR services and support while ensuring accurate and consistent application of collective agreements, policies, procedures, and best practices. - Lead full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, hiring,



and onboarding for new employees. - Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations, labour relations, grievances, complaints, and conflict resolution. - Maintain HR policies, organizational charts, job titles, benefits administration, and compliance with Canadian employment legislation. - Contribute to strategic HR planning, organizational development, and continuous improvement of HR programs. - Oversee and deliver HR operations across recruitment, employee relations, labour relations, benefits, and policy administration. - Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on grievances, complaints, workplace concerns, and collective agreement interpretation. - Maintain HR documentation, organizational structures, job titles, and employment compliance practices. - Support strategic HR planning and organizational development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $105,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience. - 1-year contract position.
