As the Sales Associate & Video Specialist you should have a thirst for technology and a passion for creativity. The Sales Associate & Video Specialist will play a pivotal role in executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales for Nikon's portfolio of imaging and video products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video production and extensive knowledge of Nikon's video equipment. This role involves providing expert guidance to customers and retailers demonstrating product capabilities, and driving sales through exceptional service and application support. You will collaborate and assist the Sales & Marketing team to build and execute digital marketing campaigns, events and social media initiatives. Assist with product demonstrations at tradeshows and retailer events. This role requires a creative thinker with solid communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for content creation and consumer electronics.

Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to understand their production needs and recommend suitable Nikon products.
Demonstrate Nikon photo and video equipment to potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits.




Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in video production technology.
Organize and conduct product demonstrations and workshops to showcase Nikon imaging and video solutions.
Assist in the development of sales materials and presentations.
Interface with resellers on matters dealing with orders, quotations, scheduling, delivery dates and shipping.
Represent Nikon at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.
Collaborate in cross-functional environments with product marketing, pro services and sales teams to execute on initiatives that will advance our efforts to enrich customer experiences in photo and video.

Qualifications:

Understanding of Nikon products and competitive landscape
Strong knowledge and understanding of video specifications and technologies.
Understanding of marketing channels, including Web, Social, Print, Retail, Tradeshow/Events
Strong organizational and executional skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, technical aptitude and presentation skills
Experience with graphic design and producing engaging digital content (such as web banners, videos, articles, etc)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe In-Design & Illustrator required
Experience using video equipment and software, including cameras, mics, rigs, lighting, editing software
Understanding of industry standard photo and video software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci required
Ability to travel up to 20% (includes possible overnight and/or international travel)
Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed
2 Year College Certificate or Diploma
5+ years experience
Technology and Imaging industry experience would be an asset
