As a student, you will have hands on experience from day one, while gaining practical insight into the corporate operations of a world-class automotive manufacturer.

Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, West Sussex (UK) - Tactical Marketing - Placement Year (July 2027)
As a Tactical Marketing Intern, you will support Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in becoming adata-driven organisation.Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Steering Manager and Marketing Automation Specialist, you will:

Gain experience across the channel mix, reporting on what performs best across the relevant countries and regions

Generatedata-driven insights and recommendations

Support the execution and optimisation ofautomated marketing campaigns through mapping the optimal client journey and compiling target audience segment lists

Support the creation and delivery of the content roadmap across the channel mix, including Whispers, our private members’ club, accessed via an app





This role offers hands‑on experience in how data drives strategic and commercial decisions within a luxury brand.

What awaits you?
Core Marketing & Execution

Digital Campaign Execution: Support social media, email, and paid ad rollouts across global markets

Content Localisation: Adapt copy and visual assets for different regions and languages

Project Coordination: Track project timelines, coordinate with creative teams, and manage asset libraries

Performance & Funnel Analysis

Analyse performance across the client funnel (lead→order→delivery→cancellation)

Identify trends, gaps, and regional variations

Support reporting and dashboards for stakeholders

Data-Driven Recommendations

Support development of clear, actionable insights

Help define “next best actions” to improve conversion and reduce cancellations

Contribute to insight packs for regional and central teams

Marketing Automation

Assist with automated email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Support campaign delivery for events, brand, and regional teams

Monitor performance and recommend optimisation opportunities

Data Quality & Compliance

Maintain CRM and marketing data accuracy

Support data governance and compliance requirements

Identify data gaps and improvement opportunities

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work with internal teams (CRM, Marketing, Data Science, Legal) and external partners (Salesforce, analytics providers, CRM systems, digital agencies).

What should you bring along?
Essential:

Studying Business, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, or similar

Solid analytical and communication skills

Detail-oriented and well organised

Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Basic Excel or data visualisation skills

Desirable:

Knowledge of CRM/marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)

Enthusiasm for automotive and luxury brands.

Interest in marketing metrics and data-driven decision-making.
