Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire.
Must have completed Coronary Care 1 Course or demonstrate equivalency within 6 months of hire date Must have Telemetry Certification Acute medicine experience required,
ideally with a focus in cardiology or neurology Current Medical-Surgical experience preferred Ability to manage a variety of patients conditions across the life span Ability to function in a quick-paced environment Team player with strong interpersonal skills Caring attitude with patients, families and co-workers Demonstrates commitment to continuing education Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position Satisfactory employment and attendance record required The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation.
We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.
