Job Title: SME – Techno-Functional Analyst Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO) Duration: 06-12 Months Hourly Pay Rate: 70 CAD Job Description: Provide L1/L2/L3 support for IBMS (Operative Client) in a helpdesk environment.
Troubleshoot issues in scheduling, ad sales, traffic, and billing modules.
Handle incidents, service requests, and user queries via ticketing tools.
Perform SQL-based database troubleshooting, data validation, and fixes.
Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and system integration issues.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure SLA adherence.
Support user access, configurations, and minor enhancements.
Work closely with sales, traffic, finance, and technical teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered): Solid experience in Operative IBMS Client system Knowledge of broadcast/media workflows (scheduling, ad sales, traffic, billing) Hands-on SQL & database troubleshooting (mandatory)
Experience in helpdesk / EUC support environment Familiarity with Service
Now/JIRA or similar tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Understanding of infrastructure / EUC environment (VDI, VPN, etc.) Knowledge of integrations and reporting tools Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required): Experience with media companies using IBMS tools Previous experience in a telecom domain Experience with system implementation or operation side Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role): Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in various modules Handle service requests and user queries efficiently Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
