Responsibilities Manage litigation files from intake through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and settlement documentation
Conduct witness interviews and coordinate experts
Manage discoveries, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Communicate with clients regarding strategy, file status, and settlement decisions
Make tactical file-management and discovery decisions with strategic guidance
Attend trials alongside senior counsel or other lawyers
Develop expertise in personal injury, LTD, wrongful termination,



and complex multi-party litigation
Qualifications 2+ years of call in a Canadian province
Litigation experience; plaintiff or defence background considered
Solid file-management and organizational skills
Comfortable with client-facing work, negotiations, and settlement discussions
Practical and pragmatic approach to litigation and resolution
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior counsel
Comfortable challenging strategy constructively and executing agreed-upon plans
Personal injury, occupiers' liability, or civil litigation experience preferred
Experience with discovery and motion practice preferred
