Big Viking Games seeks a talented 2D Artist/Animator to enhance the visuals of our flagship game, YoWorld. This role is suited for experienced independent contractors who can craft compelling art and animations reflecting our unique style. You will work independently and collaborate with internal teams to execute high-quality assets throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create assets including props and backgrounds
• Develop high-quality 2D animations within design constraints




• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on projects
• Execute concepts from initial idea to final artwork
• Ensure quality games are shipped on time and within budget

Requirements:
• 5+ years in 2D game art and animation
• Must have access to a Windows PC
• Robust knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with MidJourney or similar AI tools
• Understanding animation principles and character design
