ThePatient Coordinator is responsible for managing the patient experience withinthe healthcare practice, ensuring efficient scheduling, communication, andsupport throughout the patient journey.
KeyResponsibilities:
Serve as the primary pointof contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Coordinate patientappointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
Assist patients withregistration and insurance verification processes.
Collaborate with clinicalstaff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensureconfidentiality.
Requirements High school diploma orequivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or relatedfield preferred.
Experience in a patient-facingrole within a healthcare setting.
Solid interpersonal andcommunication skills.
Proficient in practicemanagement software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
