Nortech Advanced NDT Ltd. is seeking a skilled and safety conscious CGSB UT-PA / PCN PAUT Certified Technician to join our growing NDT team for 4-6 week project in Fort Mac

Murray.

The ideal candidate shall posses strong technical expertise in advanced UT scanning and data acquisition, a high commitment quality and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements.-Certifications: CGSB PA-UT &/or PCN PAUT WORKING FOR NORTECH: PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results • Organize and report test results • Perform specialized inspections • May instruct and supervise others • Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



• High School Diploma or equivalent • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections • Knowledge of NDT equipment OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Possess team leadership, management and business administration capabilities and with very good negotiation and communication skills.

The employee will also run, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment.

Compensation: Compensation is based on experience and certifications held
