NAEEE is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to support the daily operations of our warehouse and cable manufacturing facility.
The Warehouse Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating receiving and shipping documentation, entering transactions into the company’s ERP/accounting system, supporting production material requirements, and ensuring that warehouse activities are properly documented and organized.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing workplace, communicating with warehouse staff, production, purchasing, suppliers, customers and carriers, and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities 1. Receiving & Incoming Materials
Prepare and process receiving documentation for raw materials, components, packaging materials and other goods.
Verify received quantities against purchase orders, packing slips and other shipping documents.
Record receiving transactions accurately in the ERP/inventory system.
Identify and report shortages, damaged materials, incorrect items or discrepancies.
Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to resolve receiving discrepancies.
Ensure materials are properly labelled and stored in designated locations.
2. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods.
Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with Warehouse and Production teams to correct errors.
Maintain accurate records of material movements between receiving, warehouse, production and finished goods areas.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages to Purchasing and Production.
Maintain organized warehouse location records and inventory documentation.
3. Shipping & Logistics
Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading and other required documentation.
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, suppliers and customers.
Verify finished goods quantities and shipping information before dispatch.
Enter shipping transactions into the appropriate system.
Track shipments and follow up on delivery issues when required.
Maintain accurate shipping records.
4. Production Support
Coordinate with Production to ensure required materials are available for production.
Prepare material requests,
transfers and related documentation.
Record material issued to production and returned from production.
Assist in tracking work-in-process and finished goods.
Communicate material shortages or inventory issues to the Production Supervisor and Purchasing department.
Support production planning by providing accurate inventory information.
5. ERP / Data Entry & Administration
Enter purchase receipts, inventory movements, shipments and other warehouse transactions accurately and promptly.
Maintain electronic and paper warehouse records.
Prepare inventory and warehouse reports as requested by management.
Ensure warehouse documentation is complete, accurate and properly filed.
Assist with data reconciliation between warehouse records, ERP records and physical inventory.
6. Warehouse Organization & Safety
Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse filing and documentation system.
Support 5S and housekeeping activities in the warehouse.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure proper use of PPE when entering or working in warehouse/production areas.
Report unsafe conditions, damaged materials or equipment issues to management.
Follow company procedures for material handling and storage.
7. Communication & Coordination
Work closely with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, Sales, Accounting and Management.
Communicate inventory and shipping issues promptly.
Respond to supplier, carrier and internal inquiries professionally.
Assist management with warehouse-related administrative tasks and special projects.
Salary Type: per hour Salary: base rate 20$/h - 23$/h, plus bonus Job Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
College diploma or post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations or a related field is an asset.
Experience 2+ years of experience in warehouse administration, inventory control, logistics, purchasing administration or a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
Experience with receiving,
shipping, inventory control and warehouse documentation.
Experience working with an ERP, inventory management or accounting system is an asset.
Technical Skills Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
Ability to work with inventory and purchasing systems/ERP software.
Comfortable preparing reports and working with spreadsheets.
Ability to learn new software and company systems quickly.
Knowledge & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.

Physical / Work Environment Requirements Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Ability to occasionally walk through the warehouse and production areas to verify materials and inventory.
Ability to lift or move light materials/documents when required.
Ability to work around industrial equipment while following all applicable safety procedures.
PPE may be required in designated warehouse and production areas.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on, organized and detail-oriented individual who understands that warehouse administration is not simply paperwork. The position plays an key role in ensuring that the right materials are received, recorded, stored and delivered to production at the right time.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working both at a computer and in the warehouse, and should be willing to communicate directly with warehouse and production employees to resolve issues quickly.
