Support children's development as a Before and After School Care Assistant at Central Elementary School. This role focuses on supervision, relationship building, and ensuring student well-being during program hours.
Effective immediately, this position offers 16.65 hours per week, with a shift from 2:20 PM to 5:40 PM. Collaborating closely with school staff and families, you'll facilitate smooth transitions for students between childcare and classroom settings, encouraging their cognitive and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise children on school property and in classrooms
• Build positive relationships with staff, children, and families
• Plan and deliver engaging school-age childcare programs
• Maintain child confidentiality and safety in the setting
• Administer First Aid as required
Requirements:
• High School Diploma and Responsible Adult certification
• Experience in an elementary or childcare setting
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• Cleared criminal record check
• Strong communication and organizational skills
