Position Description

Are you able to hear an engine start or equipment kick into gear and just know that something's not right?

Are you motivated and just enjoy getting to work, solving problems - not giving up until you have the answer?

Qualifications

- 3-5+ years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic, shop mechanic, field service technician, or similar role
- Direct work on paving, roadbuilding, municipal, construction,



or compacting equipment is strongly preferred
- 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence is an asset, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- A natural at troubleshooting, with a keen eye for diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical issues
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a shop/service team
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is preferred
- Ability to utilize technologies - phones, tablets, computers, or service software to complete work orders and documentation
- Must be reliable, organized, safety-focused in your work, with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time

Education

421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence
