Join a dedicated team as a Roofer specializing in shingled roofs, offering 35 to 40 hours per week. Your expertise in asphalt and wood shingles will be essential in transforming buildings.
We seek a skilled Roofer with 2-3 years of relevant experience, ready to install, repair, and replace shingles and roofing tiles on various sloped roofs. You will read blueprints and must possess necessary safety certifications including Working at Heights Training and Fall Arrest Protection Training.
Supervision of other workers may also be part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and replace asphalt and wood shingles on sloped roofs
- Read and interpret blueprints for work requirements
- Repair and maintain roofing systems as needed
- Supervise and guide junior workers in office
- Ensure safety practices are followed during installations
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in roofing
- Valid driver's license required
- Working at Heights certification
- Rooftop Safety and Fall Arrest Training completed
- Strong oral communication skills
