This position requires a professional background in blasting, robust safety knowledge, and the ability to work under wide-ranging environmental conditions. Key Responsibilities:

- Review and inspect blast plans and conditions
- Load and prime blast holes per operational needs
- Conduct pre-blast safety assessments before charges




- Maintain accurate records and manage explosive materials
- Engage in toolbox discussions and daily hazard assessments

Requirements:

- Minimum blasting experience in civil or highway contexts
- Certification from Saskatchewan or equivalent province preferred
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication with supervisory personnel
- Capable of passing all pre-employment screenings
