We are seeking a passionate individual dedicated to improving the lives of children and families. In this position, you will apply the P.R.I.D.E. model and Family Centered Case Management, developing solid relationships with clients, foster families, and community partners.
Your background in social work will be pivotal in advocating for and supporting diverse families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess suitability of caregiver applicants through interviews
- Counsel caregivers on placements and specific needs
- Provide assessment and referral services to families
- Monitor services from community support agencies
- Document caregiver history and maintain standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work or Indigenous Social Work degree
- Relevant experience in social services or human services
- Valid Saskatchewan driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
