Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Support food preparation and kitchen staff with basic tasks to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction




- Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold food safety standards and prevent contamination
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or issues

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction will help you excel in this position
