About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, the RPN will be an integral member of the nursing team. The position is responsible for but not limited to providing basic care of ADLs to residents, medication administration (RPN), observation and reporting changes in physical and emotional conditions.
Utilizing the nursing process effectively in order to provide high-quality nursing care to residents. Promoting the independence of residents considering their needs, strengths and weaknesses.
Qualifications
3 Professional references
Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 6 months
Proof of 2 Step TB testing or Chest X-ray
RPN certification and/or Licensing from an accredited college and/or good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
A current CPR and First Aid certificate
Proof of vaccination
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
