In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living workplace
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members




- Support clients with mobility devices and assistive tools to ensure safe movement within their environment

Skills

- Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments, past customer experience also considered
- Background in senior care, including experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is an asset
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols a asset
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client needs
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
- Good communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, clients, and families

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 30.0 per week
