Modernise the data platforms that feed the regulatory capital calculations of a major Canadian bank: data integration, RWA, credit, market and operational risk. Permanent role with Abbeal, Montreal hybrid.

A major Canadian bank is modernising the data platforms behind its regulatory capital management. They need a senior data engineer to design and optimise the flows that feed these calculations.

What you will do

- Design, build and optimise data integration solutions for regulatory calculations
- Work with credit, market and operational risk data and risk-weighted assets (RWA)
- Ensure data quality, lineage and processing performance
- Work with risk, finance and architecture teams

What we are looking for

- Senior data engineering experience in banking or finance
- Advanced SQL, data integration and transformation tools
- Knowledge of Basel III/IV or regulatory capital is a robust plus
- French and English
- Downtown Montreal, hybrid, 2 days a week in the office
- Permanent contract with Abbeal, 12-month assignment at the client
