The Master of Public Policy (MPP) Graduate Program is seeking a qualified sessional instructor for PPOL 699: Indigenous Policy. This role emphasizes health, social policy, and governance as relevant to Indigenous communities. Ideal candidates possess a solid post-graduate teaching commitment and relevant subject expertise, especially if they have previous experience with the MPP program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach PPOL 699 focusing on Indigenous Policy
• Develop course curriculum addressing traditional knowledge
• Engage students in diverse Indigenous perspectives
• Evaluate student performance through assessments
• Participate in program-related meetings and consultations
Requirements:
• Earned doctoral degree relevant to Indigenous studies
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the post-graduate level
• Background in public policy issues affecting Indigenous peoples
• Commitment to inclusivity and diversity in education
• Prior experience with MPP program is a plus
