We are currently seeking an experienced Abatement Project Manager to join our team in Calgary . Operating from our local office, you will be responsible for managing remediation and hazardous material removal projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of asbestos, mould, and hazardous materials remediation projects. Coordinate personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and operational performance. Maintain compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Conduct regular site visits to verify quality, productivity, and regulatory compliance. Prepare project documentation, progress reports, change orders, and closeout packages. Facilitate safety briefings and support a proactive safety culture across all project teams.
Utilize project management and construction software platforms to track project progress and maintain accurate records. Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience managing projects within the environmental remediation, abatement, or construction sectors. Strong understanding of construction drawings, project costing, and estimating practices. Experience using industry software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar platforms. Exceptional organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage field teams. Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Certifications related to asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, or hazardous materials management are considered an asset.
