The Business Development Manager, International Tactical Communications and Information Systems (TacCIS) will be responsible for business strategic planning, direction and development of existing business opportunities, and leading new strategic initiatives to ensure long term sustainable growth. This position will own the end-to-end growth pipeline for a defined geographic region and will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new contracts while deepening relationships with existing programs. They will lead at the convergence of market intelligence, solution selling, customer relationships and partnership development. Success is measured by revenue growth, win-rate against strategic targets, and the expansion of the TacCIS ecosystem of channel and technology partners.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, International Relations, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the Land C5ISR market.
- Experience in a Defence related industrial sector (technical,



project management, or marketing/business development) with a successful track record of sales in markets with a long sales cycle.
- Experience with international defense sales, knowledge and track record of working procurement processes throughout the world.
- It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed.
- Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
- Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations.
- You must be eligible to work in Canada.
