Our client in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a Part time Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Part time Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance function, supporting day-to-day operations by helping keep production and packaging equipment running efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge, and the drive to build a long-term career in maintenance—while working effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

What's the Job?

Assist with the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production and packaging equipment Support the upkeep of conveyors, pumps, VFFS bagging machines, tray sealers, labelers, and other manufacturing equipment Work closely with the Maintenance Team to help ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely Learn and develop technical skills through hands-on training in a real manufacturing setting Help maintain a smooth workflow by responding to equipment needs as they arise

What's Needed?

Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge Strong willingness to learn and grow within a maintenance role Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment TIG welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
