As a dedicated youth worker at OSYS, you'll provide front-line services in a non-profit drop-in center. Your role emphasizes building supportive relationships using a strength-based approach. You’ll engage with youth aged 14 to 24, addressing their needs through advocacy and harm reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trusting relationships with youth based on a client-centered model
• Supervise daily drop-in activities and program delivery

• Maintain knowledge of community resources for referrals
• Implement best practices for outreach and wellness services
Requirements:
• Experience in youth support and advocacy
• Knowledge of youth issues like homelessness and addiction
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings
• Clear Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Record Check
