Lead Canada's National History Society as President and Chief Executive Officer in Winnipeg. Drive strategic growth and enhance historical engagement across Canada for a respected charitable organization.
This pivotal role reports directly to the Board of Directors, providing strategic leadership for the Society while overseeing its day-to-day operations. The CEO will enhance financial sustainability, audience engagement, and organizational influence, all the while cultivating key relationships with donors, educational institutions, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute diversified revenue strategies
• Expand digital reach and audience engagement initiatives
• Build relationships with donors and government partners
• Lead program and partnership development opportunities
• Prepare for the launch of the 2028 Strategic Plan
Requirements:
• Senior leadership experience in not-for-profit or public sectors
• Robust financial acumen and organizational judgment
• Exceptional communication skills and teamwork
• Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in English and French preferred
