Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)

Job Requirements

No experience required;

Ability to lift up to 25lb;

Minimal English language ability.

Job Description

Set up and operate machines to clean, count, and process shellfish.

Set up and operate machines to grade and weigh shellfish.

Check products and packaging for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform corrective machine adjustments as required.

Record production information such as quantity,



weight, date and type of products packaged.

Shuck oysters on the culling line for washing and tubbing.

Ensure a safe workspace by cleaning up work stations at the end of the day, and reporting any issues to the direct supervisor.

Move unprocessed shellfish from loading dock to the processing line.

Move graded product into secured wet storage areas.

Move wet stored product to the packing line.

Incidental work may include

Harvesting, seeding, and maintaining oyster and clam growing areas

Beach clean up of any harvest or seeding materials

Loading and unloading harvests from vessels

Raking or evening cleared harvest areas to prepare for reseeding
