You are our first impression to our guests and the face of the company, welcoming our guests and ensuring that their needs are attended to during their ensure stay. You will be expected to provide exemplary service to all guests at all times while maintaining and exceeding the service standards set by Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing. The dynamic role of a Guest Services Agent includes duties within reservations, all front desk matters, administrative tasks,
and occasionally assisting other departments.POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:Exceed guest expectations by providing personalised, efficient and courteous guest serviceShow dedication to making every guest feel welcome in our surroundingsHandle all requests and complaints in a timely manner and appropriatelyWork closely with other departments to ensure a smooth operation through preparation and follow-upKeep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues or unusual matters of significanceProvide in-depth knowledge of room locations, features, rates, packages, property offerings and activities in the areaAct as a point-of-contact person to all guests and staff inquiriesReservation duties include handling of phone calls, emails, and online reservations and inquiries, making/changing/cancellation of reservationsPerform check-ins, check-outsProcessing of payments and processing of night audit, ensuring accuracy of all guest foliosPerform group check-ins and informational speeches for helicopter group arrivals, weddings and events, assist with event administration and set-upEnsuring all waivers of liability are signed and filed under each guest’s profileAdministration of watercrafts and fat bike rentals and winter ski equipmentBooking of local activities for guests, spa treatments, and more,
acting as our guest’s conciergeDaily gift shop operations: processing sales, restocking items as needed, communicating inventory needs to the supervisorReport all concerns related to Maintenance, Health and Safety, Security or Suspicious circumstances (including smells/sights and sound) immediately to your immediate supervisorConduct room inspections of guest rooms before check-in and during the winter evening turndown servicePerform and assist with breakfast serving duties when neededEnsuring cleanliness in and around the workplaceOperate according to policies, procedures and quality standards established by the companyOther duties and projects as assigned by the Guest Services & Spa SupervisorQUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:Post-Secondary diploma1-2 years of previous front desk or guest services experienceExperience in property management systems, POS and switchboard is an assetComfortable taking phone callsMust possess excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skillsMust be a team player with friendly personality and excellent personal presentationResponsible and dependableMust have outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multitaskComputer literate in Microsoft Office programs or Google documentsMust be flexible in regards to scheduling and working shiftsMust be willing to live and work in a remote settingAdditional language skills are an assetVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in CanadaNote: Due to the nature of our business all members of the team may be required to take on additional responsibilities at times to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
