Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (AP/AR)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented AP/AR qualified to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, following up on outstanding accounts, and supporting the overall accounting function.

Key Responsibilities
Process and record vendor invoices and payments
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances
Follow up on overdue customer accounts and payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
Assist with payment schedules, expense tracking, and month-end activities
Communicate professionally with vendors and customers regarding invoices and payments
Support management with accounting reports and other financial tasks as required





Qualifications
Previous AP/AR or accounting experience is required
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
Experience with QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
