Lead dangerous goods compliance efforts with an aviation focus as the Manager of Dangerous Goods. Ensure regulations are met while managing the Building Maintenance program within a energetic environment.
Reporting directly to the Director of Cargo and Ground Operations, this critical role requires someone with significant DG experience, particularly within the aviation sector. You will create and amend policies, drive training initiatives, and ensure adherence to all dangerous goods regulations. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and regulatory agents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and amend DG program policies and procedures • Develop and improve DG training for employees • Provide organizational DG communication and support • Conduct audits and QC checks on DG processes • Manage SMS reports on DG incidents
Requirements: • High school diploma or GED equivalent • One year of DG experience in aviation • Knowledge of IATA-ICAO regulations • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training preferred
