Enhance employee capabilities as a Training Facilitator at CNIB Deafblind Community Services, focusing on impactful training and mentoring for the Deafblind community. This role emphasizes delivering accessible training content in various settings.
As the Training Facilitator, you will work under the Manager of Training and Development to implement training initiatives that support employee growth. Your responsibilities will include facilitating training sessions, coordinating logistics, and providing mentorship to ensure a culturally responsive learning workplace. A strong understanding of Deafblind culture and communication methods is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate training sessions in-person and online
• Deliver inclusive content using American Sign Language (ASL)
• Coordinate participant communications and attendance tracking
• Support the onboarding and mentorship programs
• Maintain accurate training materials and records
Requirements:
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Minimum 2-3 years in training delivery
• Strong knowledge of Deafblind community practices
• Excellent coaching and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
Lead training initiatives and support staff development within the Deafblind community at CNIB.
