The Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation is seeking a Cultural Advisor to support its cultural integrity and community initiatives. This role includes promoting Michi Saagig traditions, mentoring community members, and advising on cultural protocols. Expect to engage with leadership and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance cultural programs and community growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide cultural guidance and support to staff and initiatives
• Advise on cultural protocols for events and ceremonies




• Plan and facilitate cultural programs and community gatherings
• Integrate cultural elements into wellness programs
• Mentor community members in cultural leadership

Requirements:
• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in Michi Saagig culture
• Robust knowledge of Indigenous traditions
• Community service experience
• Valid driver's license and acceptable CPIC/VSS
