JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION: Sudbury MHSW Depot Operator
HOURS OF WORK: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays when required
WORK REQUIREMENTS
Report to and receive authorization from the HHW Depot Manager
Receive, sort, pack, and bulk waste received from residents and the Toxic Taxi
Have valuable communication skills while dealing with the public
Bilingual is preferred
Maintain a valid “G” Class driver’s license
Ensure that the depot runs in an efficient and effective manner at all times
Maintain clean grounds and facility
Wear all of the required PPE at all times
Work in a safe manner at all timesLight administrative duties - receiving and responding to phone calls and emails, data entry to Excel
Ensure the information recorded on the logs is accurate prior to Depot Manager’s review
