Northern Health is urgently seeking locum physicians for flexible shifts through March 2027 at the Xaayda Gwaay Ngaaysdll Naay/Haida Gwaii Hospital and Health Centre. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive family care alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive community. You'll also participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and family practice residents, enhancing your skills in a collegial atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinic-based family practice and emergency care
• Mentor students and residents in a teaching setting




• Participate in educational CME luncheons
• Engage in skills drills and collaborative learning
• Foster community relationships through patient care

Requirements:
• Canadian College of Family Practitioners certification required
• Emergency experience required for ER locums
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification desired
• Advanced Trauma Life Support certification desired
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification desired
